Chef Shannon's Signature Margarita


  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge

In a cocktail glass, add the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and 2-3 ice cubes. Stir and strain into the salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Note: if you prefer your margarita a bit sweeter, you can add agave nectar or a splash of simple syrup (sugar dissolved in water, equal parts)

Other additions can be chopped fresh pineapple, mango puree, jalapeños, apple, or pear puree.
